Preschool

Well, I can't believe it, but we have a preschooler in the house. Yes, it is only two mornings a week and yes, it is only 3s preschool, but still, it is a step in the big world for Raegan. We went to her open house last week and got to meet her teachers and some of her 'classmates'. She made her way around the room to all the different areas starting with the play house/kitchen area first. Like most of the kids in the room, she played by herself or near the other kids. I am hoping this will help her be a little more social with kids. She told Michael that she didn't play with anyone yesterday during her first hour of class, but I am betting they also didn't have a lot of play time. She told me she learned criss cross applesauce (how to sit during group time) and not running in the classroom. She also said they read a story about paint, but didnt sing songs. There was crying, but not from her or me; it was from other kids in the class. Hopefully we continue on a path just like the first day where she is eager and ready to go to school!
